About
The Stuga was lovingly revived in 2021 by Gerald & Christine Bauer, hailing from Rockford, IL. Christine’s childhood was filled with summers spent on the picturesque waters of Lake Geneva, WI, where she delighted in the adventures aboard her family’s wooden Chris Craft speed boat and entertaining the many family and friends that would visit.
Their son Brian grew up spending summers running around an extended family Christmas tree farm, aptly named “the Acres”. With nearly 20 acres to explore in the summer, it provided ample space to gather for family picnics, to play games, and catch butterflies. Most of all, it was a gather place for family and friends.
